Socioblogopia Search Box Code

If you want a Socioblogopia search on your blog or webpage, but don't want the code Google gives you because:

a) you are having trouble figuring it out (hint: if you're trying to fit it into a blogger page element, 200 wide x 110 tall is the perfect size)
b) you think the widget it provides is unsightly
c) you're too lazy to go get it

then just use the code I have included in this post (sorry about the .gif format; I haven't figured out how to keep blogger from interpreting my code). It will give you a much prettier search bar. This is the code I used for the one on my blog.

Also, if you read this blog through a feedreader, Facebook, or some other distant means, hop on over and see my new widget! It 's connected to my Amazon.com wish list, so now I can share a list of books I haven't read. I was inspired by an old Crooked Timber post, Books I Did Not Read this Year. Maybe seeing the widget every time I visit my blog will inspire me to actually buy some of these books. Then I'll be that much closer to reading them...
